Opposites Attract (and So Do Fire Drills!) – A Week in Preschool!
This week in preschool has been a whirlwind of learning, laughter, and… opposites! We’ve been diving headfirst into our opposites vocabulary, exploring words like big/small, hot/cold, and up/down. It’s amazing how much fun you can have learning about things that are so different! But learning isn’t just about sitting in the classroom! We had a fantastic opportunity to share our rhythm skills with some of our biggest role models – the kindergarteners! We joined them for a beat-time session, tapping our feet and clapping our hands and practicing our phonics.
They were fantastic big brothers and sisters! And because safety is always important, we also learned all about fire drills! We practiced walking calmly and quietly in a line, following our teacher’s instructions carefully. We learned what to do if there’s ever a real fire, and how important it is to listen to the grown-ups. It’s better to be prepared, right?
Overall, it’s been another busy, exciting week filled with new words, exciting collaborations, and crucial safety lessons.
We’re already looking forward to all the adventures next week holds! Thanks for reading! Bye!
