A Week of Past Tense, Rainfall, and Pajamas at Jelly Beans International Kindergarten!
This week at Jelly Beans International Kindergarten was another jam-packed adventure! We celebrated a significant milestone in our Jolly Phonics program, starting our 38th week! This week’s focus was all about mastering the art of writing sentences in the past tense – a crucial step in developing strong writing skills. Our little scholars tackled this challenge with enthusiasm, crafting narratives of their past experiences and showing impressive progress in their grammatical understanding. We’re incredibly proud of their dedication and the strides they’re making!
But the learning didn’t stop there! Our scientific explorations continued with an exciting experiment simulating rainfall. The children were fascinated to observe the process, learning about the water cycle and the formation of rain in a hands-on, engaging way. This experiential learning brought our weather studies to life, fostering curiosity and a deeper understanding of the natural world.
And as a perfect ending to a week filled with learning and discovery, we threw a fantastic pajama party! The children arrived in their favorite PJs, ready for a day of fun, games, and relaxation. It was the ideal way to unwind and celebrate their achievements.
