In the final conclusion of perfecting our understanding of scientific methodology, students had the opportunity to use their learned theory and apply it practically to various experiments. During the lesson, emphasis was placed on the following steps:
1. Creating a question through observation 👀
2. Formulating an individual hypothesis based on what the students believed would happen 💭
3. Experimenting together 🔬
4. Recording the results of the experiments 📝
5. Analyzing and presenting their findings in a classroom discussion 🗣️
The lesson allowed students to become scientists as they tried to predict the different outcomes – with a fair amount of success 💡 Tons of fun was had and we look forward to many more experiments throughout the year!
