At Stars & Stripes International, this weeks art lesson saw the students completing their self-portraits! Students received a demonstration on shading their faces, and adding highlights to their hair from the talented Teacher Yuki ✏️
These techniques helped students to create dimension to their artworks and bring them to life.
After students completed their works, Teacher B and Teacher Yuki were able to reward serval students on the following categories:
1. Best Overall Portrait – Kana
2. Best Dimensions and Spacing – Tasuku
3. Best Highlighting, Shading, and Shine – Laiji
Overall, each artwork was unique and portrayed the personality and energy of each student. We are incredibly impressed with all of our artists work 🎨
