Imagining Children’s Futures
Through Education
In the United States, earning an elementary or middle school diploma isn’t limited to attending a traditional school. Homeschooling (online, at-home learning) and individualized study (similar to specialized tutoring) are widely accepted. As a result, children aren’t always required to attend formal schools.
Those who aim high can choose their own learning pace—skipping grades if needed—or focus on academics in the morning and devote afternoons to pro-level sports or the arts. Inspired by these flexible options, Stars & Stripes International strives to ensure no child is left behind and each one can develop their own sense of individuality.

A Global Education
Program
Unlike typical international schools with a highly multinational student body, Stars & Stripes International School follows a clear educational philosophy that nurtures globally-minded individuals while preparing them for success on the world stage.

Sports Recommendations
When it comes to sports success, the most crucial factor is respecting each child’s autonomy rather than pressuring them. Academic success becomes a major advantage for college admissions.
The Potential of Language

You’ll connect with coaches, teammates, and referees more effectively and form meaningful bonds with athletes worldwide, gaining new insights. In multinational teams, you can also step up as a leader and guide your team to success.Expanding Overseas Career Opportunities
In professional contracts or international competitions, you’ll negotiate deals and interact with sponsors in English, opening doors to opportunities with global clubs. A Global Future with Stars’ English Education
Alumni / A.F

Both of my children attended Stars from kindergarten. My son is currently studying at Aoyama Gakuin University and is on a study abroad program in Canada, while my daughter has already graduated from Aoyama Gakuin and started her career. Thanks to Stars’ exceptional English education, they were able to gain admission to Aoyama Gakuin University, International Christian University (ICU), and Waseda University, all top-tier (D1 level) universities.
Because they attended Stars from an early age, they have grown into globally-minded individuals. We are truly grateful for the strong English foundation that helped them succeed in their university entrance exams.

In Sports, in English, and in Life—
Invaluable Skills Gained at Stars

Anthony, Shimane Susanoo Magic
Growing up in an environment where English was spoken naturally, I never felt like I was “studying” English. I just used it as part of daily life, the same way I used Japanese.
In high school, when we added an international student to the team, my Japanese teammates faced a language barrier, but I was able to bridge the gap and communicate smoothly with both sides. English empowered me to realize I could thrive anywhere in the world.
I’m gearing up to join the B League as a professional basketball player. In this league, where everyone, Japanese and international players alike, communicates in English, I’ve come to appreciate the importance of English not just as a skill but as a crucial communication tool.
At Stars, English isn’t merely studied; it’s part of everyday life. That immersive environment helped me acquire practical, real-world English skills.
